Cognac 'Bio Attitude' Leopold Gourmel

The Cognac “Bio Attitude” of Lepold Gourmel is a magnificent spirit that is produced with grapes 100% certified as organic and in accordance with the guidelines of Ecocert – a French organization for sustainable development. In compliance with the flavors of nature and environment, Gourmel has drawn a great philosophy craftsmanship, widely estimated in the world: a brave choice also for the authenticity of the vinification process, distillation, aging and bottling that has been rewarded by consensus of the experts and novices amateurs' delighted palates. The wines that are used to create the cognac come from the first crop of the famous vineyards in the Fins Bois, at the north of Bordeaux and in the region of Cognac. The love of Gourmel for this “exceptionnel” terroir has led him to work with natural fertilizers, in order to encourage the work of microorganisms in soil, looking at a continuous improvement of the products of the earth. The spirit is enriched through a maturation in barriques of the oldest oaks French. This first-rate wood prevents oxidation and enriches it with very subtle notes of wood, enhancing the potential of the vintage.
