Greco di Tufo Pietracupa 2015

Greco di Tufo by Pietracupa is a very interesting white wine, with really nice citrus notes, infinite length and intensity of both nose and palate. This wine is proof that perseverance combined with a love for their land always leads to the creation of great wines. The story of Pietracupa begins with Peppino Loffredo, who took over the property on the hill Montefredano, near Avellino, in the early seventies. His was a return to the campaign, done for the sake of producing some Fiano for themselves and their loved ones. Everything changes when, in 1999, the son Sabino joins the company after working around the world on boats: this was the born of the project of Pietracupa, the desire to build something truly unique and important in the national wines. Twelve years we can safely say that this winery is one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of Campania. This Greco di Tufo is confirmed as a wine of great interest and character, who takes life by the vineyards that the winery has to rent in nearby Santa Paolina, an area of great vocation. The Greco di Tufo is demonstrated with an intensity unique in its kind, the result of skill in the vineyard and winery, thanks also to Carmine Valentino, the winemaker of Pietracupa.
