Vermentino di Sardegna 'Cala Silente' Santadi 2021

The Vermentino "Cala Silente" by Santadi is one of those whites that are well suited to everyday life. A Vermentino whose grapes come from vineyards located in one of the most beautiful corners of our Italy; we're a few miles from the beautiful beaches of Porto Pino, in the middle of the Sulcis, one of the oldest geological, and for this most fascinating of Sardinia. A region rich of geographic and climatic diversity: the hills and the sea; hot and dry in summer and temperate winter. An unique mix that provides fragrance and flavor Vermentino "Cala Silente" by Santadi. The harvest took place in during the month of September, followed by careful analysis of the grapes in the wine cellar, which are then fermented in stainless steel tanks; wine continues in cement tanks in contact with the yeast, so as to be more soft and round. A Vermentino that is felt : the "Cala Silente" by Santadi has a nice yellow color with golden reflections; the scent is complex, intense and fine and you can see good apple and peach in a lingering taste that stands for finesse and balance.
