The Bruichladdich Whisky 15 Years is produced in the Bruichladdich distillery, located on the shores of Loch lndaal island of Islay. It is the westernmost of the whole of Scotland and was founded in 1881 by brothers Harvey. After a long break has begun to distill in 2001 and has come back to fans around the world with a production range completely renewed. The Bruichladdich 15 Years is complex and sophisticated, with a beautiful bouquet of scents and aromas that distinguish it. First fruits, with a sweet note of vanilla, then a memory of sea air and a hint of peat smoke, all harmoniously combined to give wealth to the distillate. The new production Bruichladdich is under the control of the famous Jim McEwan, also born in Islay and three times winner of the title of "Distillery of the Year". This whiskey has a beautiful natural color, without any addition of caramel, and it is obtained without cold filtration to preserve the flavors deeper. It is entirely aged island to avoid losing even a hint of sea salt that makes it so special. The nose is pleasantly pungent sensations of gummy candy and slightly fruity. The palate is quite savory, marine, with notes of nuts and caramel followed by smoky hints, of great complexity and balance. In the final is still found dried fruit, walnuts, and smoking.
