The Whisky Distiller's Edition Glenfiddich 15 Years is a single malt whisky that is produced according to the ancient century-old craftsmanship. In fact, since 1887 the Glenfiddich distillery, which is located in the Scottish kingdom of whisky, the Speyside region, is on business and over the years has become known around the world thanks to the high quality and particularity of its collection. The raw materials have an excellent quality: the barley malt, which is used by the descendants of the founder William Grant, directly comes from the selection of the best producers. Maturation takes place in traditional American and Spanish oak barrels, while the filtering does not provide the chill technique: the result is a unique spirit, bottled as cask strength. The latter name explains the fact that it has never been diluted, a choice that enhances it a complex character. Therefore, the taste is unique and vibrant, creamy, floral and spicy at the same time and has a velvety soft final that gives satisfaction. Adding water it will surprise you with special fruity and vanilla notes. A special edition not to be missed, honored in 2013 with the silver medal at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC).
